ThingsInNet RS485 IoT Gateway
The ThingsInNet RS485 IoT Gateway is the perfect way to connect your RS485 devices to IoT systems. This innovative unit leverages a ThingsInNet RS485 shield (based on K485 TTL to RS485 converter) in conjunction with the ThingsInNet ESP32 IoT Sense Kit Pro, thereby it becomes a powerful and versatile unit for long running applications.
This unit has six channels to establish an RS485 network, and these six channels can be used to connect a total of 32 devices in a daisy chain. It can be programmed using any Arduino-compatible platforms, and the ThingsInNet team will provide sample Arduino code to read and write RS485 data upon request. It follows original RS485 standards in communication. Even though the device is mainly for RS485 devices, there are many other types of devices such as I2C and One-wire that can be easily connected.
Further, the unit also connects to the Internet using Wi-Fi, making it easy to integrate with your existing IoT infrastructure.
